It is used in manufacturing pipes, screens, bases for screens, crucibles, heaters working in neutral environments up to 2300°С and oxidizing environment up to 400-450°С; in vacuum and other closed electric furnaces. Besides it is used for tiles and blocks for lining of chemical apparatuses, cast iron and slag chutes and so on.
